The Club is Kickin' it up a Notch! What does this mean for you? Well, while the site is under construction, we would first like to ask for your patience while we build this spectacular new website. The goal of this site to create a dynamic website location where equestrians of our community can visit to find local events, vendors, equestrian service providers, and connect with others in our community. Of course, we will also post photos, videos and club information as we go out and experience our world. Please come back often as you will see something new almost daily!
Hope everyone has been enjoying the recent cool down in the weather lately. Just wanted to give everyone the “heads up” that our next meeting scheduled on November 12th will be our final meeting of the year before our annual Christmas Party dinner which is scheduled at the Oaks Grille Par Lounge on December 12th. This meeting we will be having our annual board officers election so your attendance and support would be appreciated. Current positions available are President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer. If any of you have an interest in any of these positions, please plan on attending the meeting.
Back by special request, we have club member Dr Corine Selders as our guest speaker to keep us all informed with the latest equine related health issues. We call it “Ask the Vet Night” so if you have any questions regarding your horse or anything else please feel free to ask her. Corine has been very supportive and helpful to our club for many years and it will be a great honor to have her attend our final meeting of the year.
Recently, club member Beth Kelso had volunteered to put together a survey for our members to gather feedback on current club activity, future ideas, club events, etc. (Thanks Beth!) The survey received great responses from our members and is available for your viewing pleasure to on https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-VRDYYGHL/. Please take a moment and check it out. We will also recap the results of the survey at our November meeting to review/discuss with our members and consider implementing ideas for next year’s meetings & events.
I thought we should bring in some good food and beverages to our meeting as I know many of you are hungry and are just getting off work. I will also make a couple of adjustments for those of you who are vegetarian and I won’t disappoint. Let’s make this a great final meeting before our Christmas Party! I look forward to seeing you all there!
